President: Number of substations commissioned in liberated lands reaches 9

Today, with the opening of two substations in Aghdam, the number of substations in the liberated lands has reached nine, President Ilham Aliyev said during his visit to the Aghdam district on February 13.

The Aghdam-1 and Aghdam-2 substations will ensure the flawless supply of electricity to the entire region, the head of state said.

He spoke about the importance of the facilities to be established in Aghdam, including a modern hotel, a residential complex and the Central City Hospital. He said that the hotel will be commissioned in about two years, a six-building residential complex will be erected in a year and a half - maybe two years, maybe sooner, and a 210-bed hospital will provide medical services to the residents of Aghdam.

"The last time I was in Aghdam, I laid the foundation of school No. 1 here. About a thousand students will study at that school. That is, I want to say again that complex measures are being taken - the electricity supply, the project to build gas pipelines to Aghdam is being developed, drinking water supply, including the repair of the Khachinchay reservoir is in this year's Investment Program, residential buildings, hotels, jobs. That is, it means comprehensive development," said President Ilham Aliyev.
