New resettlement convoy heads to Kengerli village in Azerbaijan's Aghdam district

A new group of internally displaced persons has returned to their homes in Kengerli village in the Aghdam district as part of the “Great Return” program ordered by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Report.az, the families had previously lived in temporary accommodations such as dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings across various regions of Azerbaijan.
In this phase, 50 families comprising 207 people have been resettled in Kengerli.
The returnees expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the state support, and thanked the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and fallen soldiers for liberating their lands.
Currently, more than 40,000 people live in Karabakh and East Zangazur, including returnees, government employees, and workers in newly reestablished sectors such as healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy.
