Azerbaijani-origin Georgian MP throws teapot at voter during heated meeting

A meeting in Georgia’s Marneuli municipality turned confrontational when an ethnic Azerbaijani member of the local council threw a teapot at a constituent during a dispute.
According to aktual.ge, school administrator Ahmad Babakishiyev criticized poor infrastructure, road conditions, and drinking water issues in Qizilhajili village, blaming local MP Ceyhun Chovdarov and municipal official Sadraddin Talibov for inaction.
As tensions rose, a villager allegedly insulted Chovdarov, prompting him to throw a teapot in response. The incident was caught on video and widely circulated on social media.
