Head of Sputnik Azerbaijan Kartavykh returns to Moscow after release

The head of Sputnik Azerbaijan, Igor Kartavykh, has arrived in Moscow, he told RIA Novosti, saying he felt fine and was glad to be back home.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that Kartavykh had been released in Baku and flown to Russia.
A Baku court had previously ordered the four-month arrest of Kartavykh and chief editor Yevgeny Belousov on charges of fraud, illegal entrepreneurship and money laundering. On Oct. 10, Kartavykh’s pretrial detention was changed to house arrest.
