Rain expected in parts of Azerbaijan on Oct 21

Variable cloudiness is forecast for Baku and the Absheron peninsula on Oct 21, with mostly dry weather but rain possible in some areas by evening, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.

Moderate northwesterly winds will prevail, strengthening at times during the day. Nighttime temperatures are expected at 14-16 degrees Celsius and daytime at 17-20. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 760 to 765 mmHg, with relative humidity at 70-80%.

Across other regions, rain is expected, in some places heavy with thunderstorms and hail. Wet snow may fall in highland areas, with fog possible. Westerly winds will strengthen at times. Temperatures will range from 9-14 at night to 17-21 during the day, while in the mountains 1-5 at night and 5-9 during the day.
