Azerbaijan sets fixed monthly tariffs for electricity and natural gas

In international practice, fixed charges play an important role in covering infrastructure maintenance, service provision and other operational costs, regardless of the volume of electricity or natural gas consumed.
The Tariff Council has set the monthly fixed electricity tariff at 1 manat for households and non-household consumers using a single-phase supply, and 3 manats for non-household consumers using a three-phase supply.
For natural gas, the monthly fixed tariff has been set at 1 manat for households and non-household consumers connected via domestic gas installations, and 3 manats for non-household consumers connected via industrial gas installations.
