Azerbaijan police solve 86 crimes on January 13

A total of 86 crimes were solved across Azerbaijan on January 13, including 81 current cases and five previously unsolved crimes, the Azerbaijan Interior Ministry said.

According to the ministry, 131 wanted individuals were detained during the day, including 109 persons wanted as debtors, and handed over to the relevant authorities.

Police also uncovered 47 drug-related cases and identified 35 incidents involving the seizure of illegally held weapons and ammunition.

In addition, 60 people suspected of committing crimes were detained.
The ministry said operational and investigative measures are ongoing.
