Leyla Aliyeva visits Louvre Abu Dhabi, Abrahamic Family House
Leyla Aliyeva on February 5 visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum and the Abrahamic Family House in the United Arab Emirates, according to AZERTAC.
Aliyeva first toured the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first international outpost of Paris’s Louvre Museum. Located on Saadiyat Island and designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, the museum opened in 2017 and houses a permanent collection spanning multiple historical periods and civilizations, alongside temporary exhibitions on loan from partner institutions.
She also visited the Abrahamic Family House, an interfaith complex announced in 2019 by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The site brings together three houses of worship – a mosque, a church and a synagogue – and includes an educational centre aimed at promoting interfaith dialogue and peaceful coexistence.
