Four stranded fishermen rescued off Qaradag, Baku

Four citizens were rescued from the Caspian Sea near Qaradag district, Baku, after their fishing boat experienced engine failure about 1 km from shore, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) said.

The incident was reported via the MES “112” hotline. Divers and rescuers from the State Service for Small Vessels and Water Rescue were immediately deployed to the area.

Those rescued include Rahman Mammadov (b. 1994), Ali Aliyev (b. 1986), Intiqam Mammadov (b. 1981) and Ilkin Guliyev (b. 1980). All were safely brought to shore.
