Azerbaijan’sCentral Bank has said its reserves continued to expand in July.

Theholdings grew by almost 18 percent to $15.19 billion as of July 31 from $12.88billion a year earlier, the bank said.

TheCentral Bank last month reduced the benchmark interest rate to 3.5 percent from4.25 percent.
