It's imperative that all the facts surrounding this incident are thoroughly investigated, and those responsible are held accountable, Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, wrote on X, while commenting on the hospital explosion in Gaza. 

According to him, there's no conceivable reason to strike a facility with innocent civilians and medical staff: "Appalled by the tragic attack on Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza. Targeting of civilian infrastructure is not in line with international law. We also urge for immediate access to humanitarian aid in the Gaza strip to provide assistance.”
