China almost doubles energy imports from Russia

In March-July this year, China increased its purchases of oil, oil products, gas and coal to $35 billion from $20 billion a year earlier, reported from Bloomberg.

In July, supplies of Russian coke (plus 63%, to 2 million tons), coal (plus 14%, to 7.4 million tons) and crude oil (plus 8%, to 7.15 million tons) increased the most. Imports of gas (plus 20%), aluminum (plus 16%), palladium (plus 29%) and wheat (plus 52%) also increased.

At the same time, imports of Russian copper to China decreased by 20% (to 20,300 tons), and nickel dropped by 10% (to 3,200 tons).Subscribe to our Fa
