OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs intend to arrange the meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the end of this year.
News.Az reports citing Armenian media that the statement came from U.S. co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick.
He said organization of the high-level meeting will be discussed during his trip to Yerevan and Baku.
"As far as I know, a referendum is due to be held in Armenia in early December. Therefore, the meeting with respect to the presidents' schedule may be organized after a referendum by the end of this year," Warlick said.
He said that prior to the meeting it is necessary to intensify the negotiation process on the level below the presidential.
This may be a commission or a working group. The projects of popular displomacy are also necessary and the co-chairs are ready to assist them.
