Demonstrating its aggressive nature once again, the military-political leadership of Armenia continues its provocative actions against Azerbaijan with gross violation of the fundamental norms and principles of international law with the intention of national hatred and enmity. Some media outlets and various social media pages have published videos of Armenian footballers insulting the Azerbaijani national flag, reported from the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan has instructed its Investigation Department to investigate the incident. The Prosecutor General's Office is referring to Article 283.2.3 (incitement of national, racial, social or religious hatred and enmity by an organized group) and Article 324 (insulting actions on the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan or the State Emblem of the Republic of Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code.

By sending petitions for legal assistance in the case, the necessary measures will be taken to identify and bring to justice the perpetrators together with the prosecutor's offices of other countries, as well as relevant government agencies
