Czech envoy: Separatism threatens whole world

The problem of separatism now poses a threat to the whole world, Vitezslav Pivonka, Czech ambassador to Azerbaijan, said in Baku.

He was addressing a roundtable discussion titled "GUAM-Visegrad Group: Possibilities and Limitations of Regional Cooperation” on Nov. 7, Trend reports.

"It is necessary to consider the problem of separatism which now threatens the whole world,” Pivonka said.

Elsewhere is his speech, Pivonka noted that there is no country in Europe that is not concerned about the issue of energy security.

"This sphere is one of the most important areas for cooperation between GUAM and the Visegrad Group,” the envoy added.
The ambassador also mentioned tourism as one of the priority areas for cooperation.

The GUAM was created by post-Soviet countries in 1997 during the summit of heads of states of the European Union in Strasbourg.
