Czech Republic to accelerate ammunition deliveries to Ukraine from September
22.07.2024 13:30
The Czech Republic is set to expedite the delivery of ammunition to Ukraine starting from September, according to Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský.

According to the information , in a statement to journalists in Brussels, Lipavský revealed that an additional 100,000 units of ammunition are scheduled to reach Ukraine in July and August under Czechia's global military procurement program for Kyiv.

This announcement comes on the heels of Prime Minister Petr Fiala's report in late June, confirming the successful delivery of the first batch of artillery shells to Ukraine as part of this initiative. Fiala had previously announced that the Czech Republic had already secured contracts for the supply of 180,000 artillery rounds to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities.
