A designer is challenging the perception of buildings, by turning a plain-looking building into pieces of art.Through computer generation, Victor Enrich Tarres, has made 88 different versions of a hotel skyscraper in Munich, Germany. The project took Mr Tarres, from Barcelona, Spain, six months to complete as the mere rendering of the buildings' shapes took five months to finish.Mr Tarres is a big fan of skyscrapers and chose the tallest building he could find in the area during his visit in 2012.The skyscraper is a hotel, situated atop a fitness and wellness centre, and has been photographed from a a building belonging Deutsche Bahn, the German railway company.Mr Tarres, who worked on the project entitled NHDK from May until November this year, said: ‘‘It wasn't too difficult to come with new ideas - the game here was to be fast, so that it took me just ten minutes to decide each new shape.‘I chose to shoot this particular area as during my first months in Munich I had no permanent living place, but this area of town soon became very familiar to me and I started to develop an emotional connection.‘I also have a fascination with skyscrapers and this building was one of the tallest in Munich centre.‘Once I had taken the pictures, I needed five months to prepare the scene, where I practically recreated not only the central building but all the buildings around it too.’(dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
