The Kremlin is investigating reports that the Twitter account of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has been hacked. The alert came when a tweet from the account said: “I am resigning. I am ashamed of the actions of the government. Forgive me.”In another the hackers said: “I have long wanted to say. Vova! You are wrong. (Vova is a nickname for the Russian President Vladimir Putin.)And later: “Russian citizens shouldn’t suffer from the problem of perception of common sense in the top leadership in the country.”A government spokesman said the last tweets from the account, which has more than 2.5 million followers, were “not true”.Medvedev’s English-language account on Twitter has not been affected.(euronews.com)Bakudaily.Az
