Drone explodes on territory of oil products plant in Russia’s Rostov region

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has crashed into facilities under construction at the Novoshakhtinsk oil products plant in Russia’s Rostov region, the fire was extinguished, there were no casualties, Governor of the region Vasily Golubevwrote on his Telegram channel on May 4, reported from TASS.

"Tonight, near the village of Kiselevka, Krasnosulinsky district, at the Novoshakhtinsk oil products plant, an UAV crashed into the facilities of the plant’s inter-workshop flyover under construction, after which it exploded. The fire resulting from the explosion was immediately extinguished,” the report says.

He clarified that there were no casualties, the damage caused is assessed as insignificant, the fire was eliminated by the plant’s services.
