Gold price hits new all-time high

The price of gold futures for June 2025 delivery on the Comex exchange (a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange) hit a new all-time high on April 2, rising above $3,200 per troy ounce, according to trading data.
As of 00:29 Baku time on April 2, gold had increased 1.12%, reaching $3,201.6 per ounce. By 08:00 Baku time on April 3, the price had slightly retreated to $3,171.5, still up 0.02%.
Meanwhile, Brent crude oil futures for June 2025 on the London ICE exchange fell 0.12% to $73.28 per barrel, while WTI crude oil futures for May 2025 dipped 0.06% to $70.03 per barrel.
