Azerbaijan’s economy grows 0.3% in Q1

Azerbaijan’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 0.3% in the first quarter of 2025, according to the State Statistics Committee.
Nominal GDP reached 29.89 billion manats in January–March. The non-oil sector expanded by 2.5%, while the oil and gas sector contracted by 3.8%.
Industry accounted for 37% of GDP, trade and vehicle repair for 10.3%, transport and logistics for 6.8%, construction for 5.8%, agriculture, forestry and fisheries for 3.1%, information and communication for 1.8%, hospitality and food services for 2.9%, other sectors for 21.6%, and taxes for 10.7%.
GDP per capita stood at 2,922 manats in the first quarter.
