A total of 13,818 Azerbaijani manats were stolen from citizens' bank cards on April 14 through various cyber fraud schemes, the Interior Ministry reported.

The amount of unauthorized withdrawals ranged from 118 to 4,000 manats.

The ministry urged citizens to remain vigilant, especially when receiving calls offering quick earnings, insurance payouts, or requests to confirm banking operations. Officials strongly advised against sharing any confidential card information and warned of ongoing cyber threats.
