Sangachal Terminal exports averaged 73.3 mcm of Shah Deniz gas per day in Q1

Oil and gas from the Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields continued to flow via subsea pipelines to the Sangachal Terminal throughout the first quarter of 2025, BP reported.
The terminal currently has a daily processing capacity of 1.2 million barrels of oil and condensate, and approximately 81 million standard cubic meters (scm) of Shah Deniz gas. Total daily gas processing and export capacity, including ACG-associated gas, stands at around 100 million scm.
During the quarter, the terminal exported about 52.3 million barrels of oil and condensate, all of which were delivered through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline.
Gas was exported mainly via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) and the SCP Expansion (SCPX) system. A separate Azerbaijani pipeline connected to SOCAR’s Azəriqaz network also facilitated domestic gas distribution.
On average, the terminal delivered 73.3 million scm per day (around 2.59 billion standard cubic feet) of Shah Deniz gas during the quarter.
