Baku Stock Exchange records over 2-fold increase in turnover

The total value of transactions concluded on all financial instruments at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) amounted to just over 27.125 billion manats ($15.956 billion) in the first four months of 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.4-fold, Report informs, citing BSE.

The number of transactions concluded in the mentioned period surged by 2.2 times to 9,694.

Some 83.8% or 22.728 billion manats (just over $13.369 billion) of BSE's turnover accounted for repo operations, which is 3 times more year-on-year.

During the reporting period, the value of transactions on government securities increased by 16.5% to over 3.272 billion manats (almost $1.925 billion), while the value of transactions on corporate securities increased by 68.1% to 1.124 million manats ($661.5 million).
