Azerbaijan ranks among the leading countries by volume of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Turkey, according to TRT.

Data from the Investment and Finance Office of the Turkish Presidential Administration shows that in the first six months of this year, the Netherlands accounted for the largest share of FDI in Turkey at 35%. It was followed by Kazakhstan (16%), the United States (10%), Germany (6%) and Azerbaijan (5%).

Overall, Turkey attracted $6.3 billion in FDI from January to June, up 27.1% compared to the same period last year. The statement emphasized that these figures reflect strong investor confidence in the Turkish government’s economic program.
