Azerbaijan has allocated 22 bln manats for Karabakh reconstruction — MP

Azerbaijan has already allocated more than 22 billion manats ($12.9 billion) for the reconstruction of Karabakh and East Zangazur, lawmaker Vugar Bayramov said on Monday.
He noted that the 2025 state budget earmarks an additional 4 billion manats, while by the end of 2026 some 140,000 citizens are expected to be resettled in the liberated territories.
According to Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s GDP stands at $134 billion, accounting for around 60% of the South Caucasus economy. The country’s foreign exchange reserves reached $78 billion, exceeding its external debt by a factor of 16.
