Two passenger planes collide on runway at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport

Passengers on a Sukhoi Superjet bound for St. Petersburg were evacuated after the plane collided with another passenger aircraft on the runway at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport, airline Rossiya said.
Technical crews are inspecting the aircraft, and passengers were taken back to the terminal building before boarding a replacement plane at 23:08 Moscow time, the airline said.
Russian media reported the Superjet collided with a Hainan Airlines Airbus A330 preparing for departure to Beijing. About 100 people were on board the Superjet. The aircraft’s tail and the Airbus wing were damaged. No injuries were reported.
