Azerbaijan transported nearly 4.3 billion cubic metres (bcm) of natural gas through the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) in January–September 2025, up 0.1 bcm or 2.4% from a year earlier, the Energy Ministry said.

Total gas exports reached 18.3 bcm in the first nine months, down 0.5% year-on-year. Of this, 9.4 bcm went to Europe, unchanged from the same period in 2024. Deliveries to Turkey stood at 7.3 bcm, also unchanged, while supplies to Georgia fell 0.1 bcm, or 5.9%, to 1.6 bcm.

The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), the European section of the Southern Gas Corridor, currently has a throughput capacity of 12 bcm a year, supplying consumers in Italy, Greece and Bulgaria since December 2020.
