Azerbaijan security chief Ramil Usubov meets Russia’s Shoigu in Moscow
Azerbaijan’s Secretary of the Security Council Ramil Usubov attended the 13th meeting of CIS Security Council secretaries held in Moscow on November 5.
According to Azerbaijan’s Security Council, discussions focused on strengthening security across the CIS, countering radical ideologies, preserving moral values, expanding humanitarian cooperation and ensuring regional stability.
In his remarks, Usubov briefed participants on Azerbaijan’s efforts in these areas and on initiatives aimed at promoting peace and development in the South Caucasus.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Usubov held a bilateral meeting with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu, where they discussed regional security and prospects for cooperation based on priorities set by the leaders of both countries.
