Azerbaijan’s energy agenda in focus at Caspian SPE conference

Azerbaijan will host the annual SPE Caspian Technical Conference from 25–27 November, bringing together regional energy leaders, engineers and policymakers. The event, supported by host organisation SOCAR, will be held under the theme “Learning from the Past, Enhancing the Present, Inspiring the Future”.

The conference will feature discussions on digitalisation, AI deployment, mature field optimisation, safety and secure supply chains. The programme includes an opening ceremony, regional SPE awards, two high-level plenary sessions and more than twenty technical panels.

Speakers will represent SOCAR, bp, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Chevron, TotalEnergies, BCG and leading academic institutions. A parallel technology exhibition will showcase new engineering tools and solutions, while a Student Summit will provide networking opportunities for young professionals.

SOCAR serves as the host organisation, with bp, SLB, TotalEnergies, Baker Hughes, Chevron and other companies sponsoring the event.
