Pakistan’s prime minister meets Azerbaijan’s economy minister

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met in Islamabad with Azerbaijan’s delegation led by Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov.

During the meeting, both sides noted that the strategic partnership between Pakistan and Azerbaijan is expanding across multiple areas and contributing to deeper economic cooperation. They highlighted the importance of high-level exchanges, bilateral meetings and signed agreements for strengthening ties.

The two sides said there is substantial potential for joint investment activity and cooperation in other economic sectors. They also discussed priority areas of bilateral relations and ways to diversify business links.
