Gold Prices Stabilize Near All-Time Highs on January 9

As of today, gold is trading at approximately $4,470 per troy ounce on global markets. In Azerbaijan, the local price for 24K gold stands at 242.19 AZN per gram.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the official rate for one ounce of gold is 7,532.84 AZN.

 The "yellow metal" continues its bullish trend following a historic performance in 2025.

Current prices are driven by strong central bank accumulation and a global shift toward de-dollarization.

Analysts suggest that if current geopolitical risks persist, gold could reach a target of $5,000 per ounce later in 2026.
