Gold prices rise

Gold prices rose by 0.06% to $4,687.37 per ounce, according to exchange data.

Silver also increased by 0.23% to $73.018 per ounce.

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) purchased 15.8 tonnes of gold in the second quarter of 2025.

According to the fund, the share of gold in its investment portfolio reached 28.8% as of July 1 last year, up by 3 percentage points compared to April 1.
