The minister highlighted Azerbaijan's keen interest in expanding its gas exports to Europe.
"You can see how Azerbaijan has increased its gas exports to date. I won't disclose specific figures, but Azerbaijan is planning to significantly boost its supplies to Europe. They have substantial resources for this purpose," Galushenko stated.
As for the prospects of extending Russian gas transit through Ukraine, Galushenko noted that his country does not plan to extend the contract with Russia in this direction.
