The terrorist organization 'Islamic state' (IS) casts a shadow on Islam as a religion of peace.
News.Az reports citing RIA Novosti that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Japan on Wednesday.
Erdogan also noted that campaigns on blackening Islam are held in the West, for example, using the notion of 'Islamic terror'.
The Turkish president started his official visit to Tokyo on Wednesday. On Thursday Erdogan is to meet Japanese PM Sidzo Abe and Emperor Akihito.
