Europe's funding has supported Ukraine's economic stability and public services since the start of Russia’s war, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, wrote on X. 

"Today we disburse a new €1.5 billion. Our support to Ukraine has now reached €85 billion. More will come. We have proposed €50 billion for Ukraine until 2027,” the president said.
