Earlier, sources reported that the discussion of the 11th package is still ongoing at the level of permanent representatives of the EU countries, so it is unlikely to be adopted at the ministerial meeting. There is no final decision on the restrictions, but there are no serious disagreements within the EU on a new package of sanctions.
The list includes new restrictions on exports to Russia and on the transit of goods from the EU to third countries through Russian territory. In addition, sanctions may include companies from third countries suspected of circumventing European restrictions, new personal sanctions will be introduced, the nuclear sector and restrictions on Russian diamonds will not be included in the list.
