EU may allocate €35 billion to Ukraine

The permanent representatives of the European Union (EU) countries may agree to allocate 35 billion euros (approximately $40 billion) to Ukraine from the income derived from Russian assets, reported from Politico.

After this, the decision must be approved by the European Parliament. It could be officially confirmed in November.

At the same time, it is not yet known whether Hungary has agreed to extend the duration of sanctions against Russia from six months to three years.
