The EU is preparing new sanctions against Russia, a representative of the German Ministry of Economy told journalists at a briefing, reported from TASS.

In addition, the system of restrictions will be expanded and refined in order to prevent their circumvention.

"We have now approved the 12th package of sanctions in Brussels, and new packages will follow,” he said. "This means that the sanctions system will expand and improve, and opportunities to circumvent [restrictive measures] will be detected and suppressed.”
