Facebook's popular app is once again causing controversy.
Last week we reported that the app was slowing down Android devices and eating into battery life.
Some Apple users may have been left smirking at the news but new tests will soon wipe the smile off their faces.
It seems that iPhones with the Facebook app installed are munching their way through 15% more juice every day.
That's compared to users heading to Facebook via Apple's Safari web browser.
The test were performed by the Guardian on a number of different iPhones and all ended with the same results.
It's unclear why the Facebook app is so hungry on power, but the firm are said to be looking into these recent tests.
For now it seems the best way to increase the life of your phone is to ditch the app and access Facebook via the web instead.
Although there's a few features missing, the experience is almost identical and users can even add a Facebook shortcut to their homescreen for instant access.
There's also another good reason to delete Facebook, as the app takes up an around 500MB of your precious iPhone memory.
These new emoji-style characters will allow Facebook users to express emotions on friend's posts.
Whilst the famous thumbs down symbol hasn't been included, users will be able to add a sad or angry face to their messages – with other featured emotions including Like, Love, Haha, Yay and Wow also appearing.
Although there's no official release date although it's thought that Reactions will hit the UK and the rest of the world in the next few weeks.
Reactions was rolled out first in Spain and Ireland last year, with Facebook chief product manager Chris Cox saying the team has been careful not to rush the global launch of the new idea.
"We roll things out very carefully, and that comes from a lot of lessons learned.”
