A fight began  before the start of the first qualifying round of play-off match of Europe League between Azerbaijani football club "Neftchi" and Cyprus APOEL  at "Dalga Arena" stadium.

According to azerisport.com, fighting broke out between the fans of "Neftchi" and police. The representatives of the leadership of "Neftchi", including vice-president of the club Tahir Suleymanov also participated at the side of their fans.

The president of the team Sadikh Sadikhov also intervened in the incident. There is no information about  victims.
