Zelenskyy announced Marin’s visit to the Ukrainian capital on social networks.
"A true friend of Ukraine and a defender of a free Europe, Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin is in Kyiv today,” the Ukrainian leader said.
Earlier today, on March 10, Finland announced the allocation of 29 million euros to Ukraine as assistance.
This is the second visit of the Finnish prime minister to Ukraine after the outbreak of hostilities. In May 2022, she visited Irpin and Bucha. Then the parties agreed to involve Finland in the restoration of Ukraine’s infrastructure.
