Fire safety the Chinese way - PHOTO

Fire safety the Chinese way - PHOTO

One primary school in Binzhou, China believes that teaching students fire safety is best done not by simulating a fire emergency, but by nearly lighting the students on fire themselves.A series of photographs from the school's safety awareness class show students beneath blankets who have instructed to walk beneath ropes that have been set ablaze. One by one students face the flames, their blackened blue blankets showing evidence that they make direct contact with the burning ropes above them. The students are dressed in what appears to be red, white, and blue jumpsuits along with a black safety helmet to keep their learning brains from turning into mere ash while participating in the dangerous safety course.Their safety instructors are dressed in green camouflage uniforms and every so often they guide them safely beneath the flames in what seems to be a Chinese departure from the 'stop, drop, and roll' fire awareness exercises that are commonly practiced in schools around the globe.(dailymail.co.uk)BakuDaily.Az
