An Uzbekistan Airways plane flying from Moscow was unable to land in Termez, a city in southern Uzbekistan, reported from Uzbekistan Airports company.

The plane was redirected to Samarkand due to fog.

"The crew of Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-9610 Moscow-Termez made a decision to divert to Samarkand due to heavy fog at the destination airport," said a representative of Uzbekistan Airports.
