French politician: 1.4B euros allocated for cleaning Seine wasted

In France, the government wasted 1.4 billion euros allocated for cleaning the Seine River, Florian Philippot, the leader of the Patriotic Party, said on a social network.

"The athletes' first training in Sena, scheduled for Sunday, has been canceled. After the recent rains, the water is polluted. And we spent 1.4 billion to clean the Sena," the politician stressed.
