French President Francois Hollande attended a business forum in Azerbaijan’s capital of Baku.

The French-Azerbaijani business forum was joined by 90 business people from France and 200 from Azerbaijan. 

Hollande and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, made speeches.

Shahin Mustafayev, the Azerbaijani minister of economic development, said France is the ninth largest foreign investor in Azerbaijan’s economy. He invited French companies to invest in the Caspian Sea nation’s non-energy economy.

Aliyev and Hollande answered questions by participants in the meeting.
