The men were part of a four-strong crew cutting grass and weeding for a 90-year-old homeowner when they were attacked by a swarm of Africanized bees. The aggressive bees came from a colony of an estimated 800,000 which were in a nest in an attic. It is thought the nest could have been in the home for ten years. The two other workers were also stung but refused to have treatment, USA Today reported.Firefighters attended the scene in Douglas, Arizona, US, and cordoned off a four-block area. The man who died and his colleague worked for an organisation which finds jobs for people with developmental disabilities. It is not yet known what caused the attack or whether the homeowner knew the nest was in the house.(mirror.co.uk)Bakudaily.Az
