At the end of October 2022, gas prices in Europe decreased by more than a third compared to the indicator at the end of September and amounted to about $1,246 per 1,000 cubic meters, reported from the data of the London ICE exchange on the November and December futures.

One of the main factors behind the decline was abnormally warm weather in the region, which is delaying the start of the heating season.

If on September 30, gas futures ended trading at about $1,884 per 1,000 cubic meters, then on October 31, trading closed at $1,246, which is 34% lower than at the end of the previous month.
