July (nearest) futures on the TTF index (the largest hub in Europe located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $323.2 per thousand cubic meters (+2.6%). Then they rose to $324.9 (+3.1%).
The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $315.1 per thousand cubic meters.
The day before, futures were up 23% to $325. Experts attributed this to the expected growth in demand for gas in Europe and Asia due to the seasonal factor and scheduled repairs to the gas infrastructure that have begun.
