Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will visit Azerbaijan for the first time on February 12.

Margvelashvili will meet President Ilham Aliyev on Wednesday. He will also meet Azerbaijan’s prime minister and speaker of parliament.

On February 13, the Georgian president will visit ethnic Georgian villages in Azerbaijan's Qax District.

Also traveling with the president will be the head of the president’s administration, the secretary of the National Security Council and members of parliament from the Georgian Dream coalition.
